aw, but i just LOVE ranma and akane!

i was in the mood to play with pictures of ranma and akane together, from the figure skating episode in particular. i just love that one. next i think will be from the romeo and juliet episode. i love that one too.

today was tiring and i hate our damn weekly reviews. i can never think of what to write...

Person of the Moment
previous persons: Inaba of Urusei Yatsura - Ryuunosuke Fujinami of Urusei Yatsura
Kikyo of Inuyasha - Maggie Mui of R.O.D. the TV - Shinji Ikari of Neon Genesis Evangelion
Miaka Yuki of Fushigi Yuugi - Gene Starwind of Outlaw Star - Jakotsu of Inuyasha

man, haven't had this in a while... anywho, the person of the moment is now officially Sousuke Sagara from Full Metal Panic (which is in no way related to Fullmetal Alchemist). Sousuke Sagara is a man on a mission in every sense of the phrase. Sousuke is a sergeant at the secret anti-terrorist organization mithril and he has been assigned to guard over Kaname Chidori, a high school girl and one of the whispered who possess severly advanced technical knowledge in their subconscious. back to sousuke: he would be a pretty low key guy if not for the fact that he's completely un-used to japanese high school life (having been a mercenary since age eight and all...). that being said, sousuke causes a lot of unnecessary havoc around his and kaname's high school."I'm not a nerd, I'm a specialist!" as i just mentioned, sousuke has no idea how to act around normal people his own age, which is why his classmate shinji's dating sim called him a nerd. it was quite a humorous scene.
sousuke is all about utility. he doesn't own anything that isn't useful in some way. at one point in the first series when Sousuke forgets about an appointment he made with Kaname, he buys her a pair of earrings and a bracelet to make it up to her. but Sousuke, being Sousuke, wouldn't just buy kaname plain ol' jewelry. the earrings are actually flashbangs (and wonderfully inconspicuous, seeing as no one will look twice at a girl's earrings), and the braclet contains a tracking device, so he find Kaname if she ever gets kidnapped (which she promptly does later on in the episode, of course).
despite his social inhibitions, Sousuke has managed to attract his very own classic anime romantic triangle! both his superior officer Captain Teletha Testarossa (Tessa for short) and Kaname (thought she has issues admitting this) have developed feelings for, as his friend Kurz calls him, Sergeant Serious.
one thing i've really got to commend sousuke for is that he's not afraid to walk around in ridiculous costumes (such as a cardboard AS). hats off to our favourite serious-minded sergeant, Sousuke Sagara!
