yea, the downpour that started this morning was actually something that got me to jump out of bed at 7 o'clock in the morning (i was worried it might be hailing on my poor new car). then at work at about four o'clock, they announced over the intercom that there was a tornado warning in effect (or is watch the worse one...?) everybody please head to the back of the store and the associates there will tell you what to do. so after about a minute of saying "that way to the produce cooler" i found myself spending the next 15-20 minutes standing in the produce cooler with half the store (the other half was in the meat freezer. see why we chose to go to the produce side? ;) ). it was an interesting experience. before we shut ourselves in (sorta, the door was cracked, but that doesn't even matter, because the other door is just a swinging plastic door) one lady was looking for somebody who worked in the bakery, so i raised my hand up high (i was standing behind some people). she said there was a little girl who was already in the cooler who's dad was in korea and was scared and crying. to tell you the truth i don't see why the dad being in korea was relevent, but that's not the point. anyway, she asked me if i could go get her a cookie; i obliged, bringing the whole package, so the rest of the lil' kids got cookies too, if they wanted.
other than that, it's been your average boring day.
one more thing, i found this on a friends journalspace:
